Visiting sacred relics and icons is a traditional spiritual activity. We may be seeking healing, insight, or blessing. Perhaps we are hoping to receive encouragement or consolation. The Baptistery of Neon, also called the Orthodox Baptistery is a fifth-century octagonal structure. It has a preserved seven-sided baptismal font. Video taken of this font reveals a cleansing female energetic which is paradoxically both gentle and strong.
