What Spiritual Teaching Is

Here are five basic teachings which invite you to consider life lived as a communion of sacredness.

An Esoteric Technology of Consciousness
Dec. 3, 2014

Please consider reaching outside of yourself rather than going inward. Consider living as a mindless experience of relational reverence. From this point of view you are an embodied soul rather than a mind with a body to support it.

Sacred and Secular

Here is a discussion about living in the sacred, its benefits and challenges. And you are invited to a life lived within the emptiness and richness of the sacred.

Comments About Our Emerging Spiritual Culture
Dec. 3, 2014

I teach the possibility of entering the sacred and living within the sacred. Inside a life lived in the sacred, possibilities for service emerge.

I continue to experience contemporary secular life as essentially predatory.

Ambition and career have distorted our emerging spiritual culture. As a larger community, we need to insist that our teachers put aside personality and personal ambition.

A Question about Our Motivation
Dec. 3, 2014

What motivates us if our motivation is not personal growth? In this teaching I continue to discuss life lived as service and suggest that as our nervous system relaxes what emerges is a web of reciprocal relationships.

A Life Lived Behind the Veil
Dec. 3, 2014

During the last day of our weeklong Spring 2014 Retreat, I spoke rather candidly about my life. I recall my tiredness at that time and my sense of not being understood by most of the people in the room.

So once again I tried to speak about a lifetime of living within a sense of reverence and reciprocity.

Our healing and development cannot be separated from the Earth’s healing and continued development.

Our soul, our sacredness, is expressed in service to the Earth’s soul, its sacredness.

Our service to the Earth, in all its animate and inanimate manifestations, is the context for our own liberation.

The Earth is healing. We are healing.
